“Oh little town of Bethlehem, how still we see thee lie! The hopes and fears of all the years are met in thee tonight.” Truly, the night Jesus was born in Bethlehem and fulfilled Micah’s prophecy, our hopes for salvation and fears for judgement were answered in the form of God coming to earth…to live a perfect life and to suffer and die on the cross for our sins.
In the quiet, little town of Bethlehem, the everlasting Light of the world came to us. All we must do to receive the gift of eternal life is to place our trust in Him.
